1. Who we are

Buildora ("Buildora", "we", "us") provides a project, financial, and workforce management platform for construction and other project-based businesses ("the Service"). This policy explains what information we collect through our marketing site and the Service, and how we use it.

2. Information we collect

When you use the Service, we collect information you provide directly, such as:

  • Account details: name, email address, and password (stored securely, never in plain text)
  • Workspace data: projects, clients, financial records, documents, and messages you create in your workspace
  • Billing details processed through our payment provider, Paynow, for paid subscriptions
  • Support communications, such as messages sent through our contact form

We also collect limited technical information automatically, such as browser type, device type, and general usage patterns, to keep the Service reliable and secure.

3. How we use your information

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the Service
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions
  • To respond to support requests and communicate important account or service updates
  • To detect, prevent, and address technical issues or misuse

We do not sell your personal information or your workspace's business data to third parties.

4. Data isolation between workspaces

Buildora is multi-tenant: many organizations share the same underlying infrastructure, but each workspace's data is isolated and access-controlled so that one organization cannot see another's projects, clients, or financial records.

5. Third-party services we rely on

The Service is built on trusted infrastructure providers, including:

  • Supabase -- database, authentication, and file storage
  • Cloudflare -- hosting and content delivery
  • Paynow -- payment processing for subscriptions

Each of these providers processes data only as necessary to deliver their part of the Service, under their own respective privacy and security practices.

6. Data retention

We retain account and workspace data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your company or your personal account, associated data is removed according to the deletion behavior described in the Service itself (for example, deleting a company removes the workspace and its data, but does not delete individual members' own accounts).

7. Your rights

You can access, update, or delete most of your account and workspace information directly within the Service (Settings, Company, and Billing). For anything you can't manage yourself, contact us at support@buildorasuite.com and we'll assist.

8. Cookies

The Service uses essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember basic preferences (such as light/dark theme). We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

9. Security

We use industry-standard practices, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and role-based access control, to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, and we encourage using a strong, unique password for your account.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
